And the price is very affordable, about 2000 Korean Won for 15 minutes. Cheap Right!!!

The Garra Rufa, typically known as “Doctor Fish,” will nibble the dead cells on the clients’ feet during this treatment.

I went to this cafe, located at Sinchon, South Korea. They provide free reading materials, like magazines, books etc. On the top roof of the cafe, they provide” fish Pedicure” Service.

When I put my feet into the pond, so many fishes came over and started nibble the dead cells on my feet. I was not comfortable with the tingling sensation on the first place, but it was OK after a while.

After the first treatment, I can feel my ankles become cleaner than and smoother than before. But still have some dry skins leftover. As what the shop owner said that only one treatment will not remove all the dead cells on the feet, but after two to three treatments you can see a very obvious result.

Amazing"Tomato"

December,12

Amazing “Tomato” Part 1

Two days ago, several pimples came out on my cheek area, I think eating a lot of deep fried food are the main culprits. Also, my T-Zone suddenly become very oily, almost every two hours I have to use the oil sheet to wipe up the oils around my nose and forehead area. The pores on my nose area become bigger as well. I felt very frustrated when I looked at my face in the mirror and it really annoyed me, I started searching online and hoping that there are relevant information that can help me.

I came to this website: http://allaboutnaturalskincare.blogspot.com/ and there are plenty of information about homemade masks. One of the homemade masks called “Tomato Facial off Buster” attracted my attention. The preparation is very easy.

firstly rub a sliced piece of tomato on your skin for 15 minutes, secondly spread the pulp of tomato on your face and keep it for about 30 minutes. Lastly, wash off with lukewarm water.

I had a try immediately that night . And the next day on the morning, when I looked at the mirror, I can see my T-Zone was not as oily as before and the pimples became smaller, redness has been relieved as well. I was so happy to see the result. For the whitening effect, i have no idea whether it works or not, since i just used it for twice, the result is not obvious. I am planning to use it twice a week for one month in order to see the whitening effect. Will keep updated here.

A study by the Harvard School of Public Health reported-Tomatoes may reduce the likelihood of different cancers, diabetes and even heart disease.

Potasslum and vitamin C contained in tomatoes can help to cleanse the face, purify and lighten the complexions. No wander the Korean women eat tomatoes as eating fruits, which surprised me when I first came to Korea. Because in Singapore or China, tomato is an ingredient that we put into the dish to bring out the flavor, we seldom eat them alone. The Korean brand, “The Skin Food” has a whole range of whitening products made by tomato extracts. And it became the top selling items when they were launched. But I haven’t tried it yet.

Are “Korean Traditaional Herb Skincare Products" effective?

December 11

Are “Korean Traditional Herb Skincare Products “effective?

Traditional Herb Skincare products are always the most popular selling items on the shelf. Before I came to Seoul, I heard several of my friends either from China or Singapore was talking about that. Good or bad, I have no idea at that time.

Recently my essence was running out, so I decided to buy Korean traditional herb skincare product as a try-out. Sulwhasoo was the first brand that came into my mind. As I saw some online feedback from some Korean websites, a lot of users gave very good comments for this brand, which give me the confidence to have a try. Asians believes that achieving a harmonization between the “Yin” and “Yang” is the key to maintain healthy skin, which is the philosophy most Korean traditional skincare products followed.

Product Name: 윤조(润燥)에 센스. The Korean word “윤조” means “moisturize”.
The texture of the brown color essence is very light and watery, it absorbs very fast once it touched my skin, The Chinese Herb smell is very light and refreshing. After two weeks, I can see a great improvement for my skin complexion and even some of the pigmentation have been lightened. I think this product is very suitable to my skin and I want to try more products of this brand.

After checking the instructions of the products I found the following major ingredients, which are the key attributes. As the article I read before, here is some info’s that I want to share.

1. Ginseng Root Extract
It has been called “Panax Ginseng” or “Panax Ginseng Root Extract” as well. It is produced from the roots of the plant; Ginseng is a stimulant, a tonic and an adaptogenic herb.

Adaptogenic Herb
It helps the body adapt to stress from both internal and external sources. It functions to raise resistance to physical, chemical or biological stresses and boost cell recovery, thereby normalizing the body’s physiological state.

Key Attributes
Tightens and sooths skin
Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

2， Polygonatum Officinale
It’s a kind of herb for “Yin” deficiency (“Yin” tonic).

Key Attributes
Promote blood circulation and cells rejuvenation.
Anti-age. It works as a anti-oxidant to prevent the occurrence of Free-Radicals.

What are Free Radicals?
Free radicals arise normally during metabolism. Sometimes the body’s immune system’s cells create them to neutralize viruses and bacteria. However, environment factors such as pollution, radiation, smoking and herbicides can also spawn free radicals. Free Radicals are the key element for fast aging.

3，Nelumbo Nucifera (Lotus)

It has been said that the Nelumbo Nucifera has anti-estrogenic effect in females.

4，Jojoba Oil
It also has been called “Simmondsia chinensis” or “Simmondsia Chinese seed extract.” It is oil high in proteins and minerals that is extracted from the seeds of the desert shrub.

Key Attributes

Rejuvenates and nourishes skin and it is an excellent carrier oil or massage oil as well

5，Renmannia Glutinosa

Rehmannia contains Vitamins A, B, and C, amino acids, cerebroside, dammelittoside, melittoside, rehmaglitin and other substances that have antiinflammatory and antifungal properties.

Key Attributes

Moisturizing, cells rejuvenation and Anti-aging

Not all the key attributes of the herbs mentioned above have been fully approved scientifically. So ladies, have you used any "Korean herb" skincare products before? Do you think they are effective?
